You’re goal is not necessarily just to warn rule breakers, your goal is determine who is not a legitimate player and remove them, a rule broken here and there is OK as long as you know the motive behind it.

-Moderation-
Being staff on our server is a little different than most, you focus on two main things: One, making sure the members know all our rules, and two, making sure there aren't minges running around the server. The tools we will provide you are exactly what you need to get it done.
Banning
→ Ban times are pretty straightforward, mass RDM and mass RDA, server lagging, exploits, and severe prop abuse is a permaban 9 times out of 10. NITRP and toxic players can be a 3 day to a 1-week ban, of course, this differs from player to player. NITRP is not a ban reason, you must include their rule breakings and then NITRP in the ban message. This goes for all ban messages, include all the things the player broke, its is required.
Punishments
→ Players that commit less serious crimes will normally only need a verbal warning to a warning via !warn <player> <reason>. Sometimes you will need to put a player in timeout. You can do this with the !jail command, or use our custom !jailroom <player> <time> <reason> and send them to the timeout room, away from RP.
On Duty
→ While on duty your goal is to take sits primarily, and also to keep an eye on activities on the server, you can do this by cloaking and spectating players. You may ONLY noclip using this job, unless you are dealing with a mass RDMer or any other major incident. If you're no clipping off duty for a non-specific reason you WILL be punished. This also applies with command such as: Ban, Jail, Phys Gunning, etc)
Promotions & Ranks
→ Promotions are based on your attendance and overall feedback from players and staff. If you feel like you deserve a promotion you may PM a Super Admin or above, but if they say no do not continue with it. If multiple staff members feel you need a promotion they are free to voice their opinions as well.
→ Ranks are primarily based on trust, they do not dictate authority more than they simply give you more access to amplified versions of the commands you already possess. As you rank increases you will receive more powerful versions of each command, but as a trial mod, you will be provided with all the necessary commands.
Admin sits
→ Admin sits are run by the staff member hosting the sit, they are not run by the players. Your duty as Staff is to collect the information you need to make an educated decision based on TANGIBLE EVIDENCE that can be presented to the players. If a sit gets out of control it is your obligation to take back control, normally this can be accomplished by splitting up the conflict with a mute or gag.
→ In the event you cannot reach a conclusive decision, or you do not have enough evidence gathered (a dead sit) you are allowed to drop the sit, but make sure both players are compensated for their lossed time. If you need money for compensation a higherup will add it to your balance both before or after the sit.
